You always pay in PLN. Below we explain the available providers, split portrait payments, payment-data security, and refunds.

Currency and total price
All orders are entered into and settled in PLN (Polish złoty). We may show an estimated EUR, GBP, or USD equivalent beside a price. It is for reference only and is not a second contract currency. Your bank, card issuer, or PayPal may use its own exchange rate and charge a conversion fee.
Before confirming payment, you will see the full PLN amount, including delivery and applicable VAT. We do not add our own fee for choosing a payment method.
Available methods
- Cards and digital wallets through Stripe — supported cards include Visa, Mastercard, and American Express, with Apple Pay and Google Pay also available on compatible devices and supported browsers.
- PayPal — pay from a PayPal account or another method made available by PayPal.
- Przelewy24 — BLIK, supported online bank transfers, and card payments in Poland.
The payment page always shows the methods currently available. Your selected independent provider processes the payment, and its terms and privacy policy may apply.
Payment Providers
Every payment is processed by an independent, licensed provider — never directly by gorna.design:
- Stripe — cards and digital wallets are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Limited, registered office in Dublin, Ireland.
- PayPal — PayPal payments are processed by PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., registered office in Luxembourg.
- Przelewy24 — BLIK, online bank transfers, and cards in Poland are processed by PayPro S.A., registered office in Poznań (60-198), ul. Logos of the currently supported methods appear in the footer of every page.
Original paintings and commissioned portraits
A finished painting is paid for in one transaction when ordering. For a commissioned portrait, you pay 50% after the photograph and quote are accepted and the remaining 50% after approving the finished-work photograph, before dispatch. Both payments use the same available methods.
Payment is complete once the provider confirms it. If the status is “pending”, do not immediately repeat the transaction. Check the provider's message and your account history, then contact us with the order number.
Payment-data security
Card forms and payment authorisation are handled within the provider's system. gorna.design does not receive or store your full card number, CVC, or online banking or PayPal login details. We receive information needed to handle the order, such as the transaction identifier, method, amount, and status.
Never send us full card details by email or in the order chat.
Refunds and failed payments
Where a refund is due, we send it to the original payment method unless you agree to another method at no extra cost. After we initiate it, posting may take several business days depending on the provider and bank.
We do not charge you any fee for a failed or declined payment. A bank or payment provider may nevertheless place a temporary authorisation hold that normally expires automatically. If you need help, contact us through with the order number, amount, date, and payment method — never include full card details or a password.
